Project Description:
My final project as an intern was to create a website solely for Aars Wells to use. Mr. Aars wanted a website that documented the conceptual sketches that were presented to long term clients. In addition to being able to upload an image and write comments, Mr. Aars wanted certain specifications such as password protection, access to previous concepts, and a content management system. All of this required a solid grasp of PHP and SQL. I began watching video tutorials and started setting up test sites that were able to be password protected and uploaded to. I picked it up rather quickly and gradually began to write my own complex string of PHP files and testing them in my local server using MAMP.Notes:
- Two versions
- Promus test
- Promus live

As an intern, I was allowed the chance to cut and code an entire website for a client that had been packaged in Photoshop. Although I did not design the exact details, I was able to see firsthand how they created different versions of layout in a single PSD. One file contained every possible situation that a user might come across on the live site. This was done by having each image on a separate layer. To see the change, make one layer hidden and the other layer visible. It was very exciting to be working on a website that will be going to one of Aars | Wells clients. Since then, it has been completed and gone live. The completed version can be seen at promusadvisors.comNotes:

Project Description:
My final project in Information Systems was assigned to me randomly, by picking a company out of a hat. For my company I was required to create an event that they might host. Then, design a poster for the event. I was also asked to design one other item of my choice that would go along with the event. I was given Livestrong's Month of Movember and chose to design a single landing page that would display the top three video submissions for the month of Movember, formally known as the Moscars.Notes:
- Freshmen level

- Practice site
Project Description:
In Web Media class I began learning the basic language of html starting with outdated practices for delivering web content. Instead of jumping straight into html5, I began by learning how to use tables and how to format a web page without the use of div tags. While this was useful in creating a solid understanding of html, it was the cause of some roughly coded websites, such as my sophomore level portfolios.Notes:
